Location: Libertyville, IL Onsite

Experience: 5 7 Years

Duration: 12 Months

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Quality Engineer with 5 7 years of experience in high-volume medical device manufacturing, with strong hands-on experience supporting molding processes and quality operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Support molding process setup, operations, test runs, and product quality testing.
Develop and maintain PFMEA for molding/manufacturing processes.
Perform DOE and process characterization to optimize manufacturing processes.
Investigate quality and yield issues using structured root-cause analysis and problem-solving techniques.
Drive continuous improvement and yield improvement activities.
Analyze test/process data and prepare records, charts, graphs, and technical reports.
Provide quality support to process development and engineering teams.
Interface with customers and cross-functional manufacturing/quality teams.

Must-Have Skills :

5 7 years of Quality Engineering experience
Medical device manufacturing experience
Hands-on Molding / Injection Molding process experience
PFMEA
DOE & Process Characterization
ISO 13485
Quality testing and process validation
Root Cause Analysis & Continuous Improvement
Strong communication and customer-interface skills
B.E. / Engineering degree
