Client is seeking an experienced Workers' Compensation Claims Adjuster II to investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and resolve complex workers' compensation claims while ensuring compliance with applicable state regulations.
Key ResponsibilitiesInvestigate and evaluate workers' compensation claims, determining coverage and appropriate reserves and payments.
Negotiate settlements and identify opportunities for early resolution.
Coordinate with attorneys, medical professionals, insureds, and other stakeholders.
Identify potential fraud and subrogation opportunities.
Maintain accurate claim documentation and prepare management reports.
Ensure compliance with state regulations and company guidelines.
3 5 years of claims handling experience, preferably in workers' compensation.
California claims certification required.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Strong analytical, negotiation, communication, and decision-making skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and claims-related systems.
Hybrid schedule: 2 days in the office per week ( Wednesday is mandatory, plus one additional day ) and 3 days remote.
